LG Ally V9 Software Update, Verizon LG Ally now gets an update by LG Electronics. It’s just a new version 9 software update for the LG Ally.

1. Click here to download and install the software updater.
2. Once the program opens select the “Install USB Driver” button. On your LG Ally under settings->about phone->status you can find your MEID. Put that into the appropriate search field and download and install the drivers to your computer.
3. While Drivers are downloading and install, on your LG Ally go to Settings->Applications->Development check USB debugging and Stay Awake. (more…)

Speed Dialing
You can store up to 98 numbers in your phone’s speed dial memory. Dial speed dial entries using one key ouch for locations 2–9 or two key touches for locations  10–99.

To  use One-Touch Dialing for speed dial on LG Rumor Touch locations 2–9:

Touch and hold the appropriate key for approximately two seconds. The display confirmsthat you have dialed the number when it shows “Connecting…”.

To use Two-Touch Dialing for speed dial speed dial on LG Rumor Touch locations 10–99

1. Press or touch the first digit.
2. Press or touch and hold the second digit for  approximately two seconds. The display confirms that you have dialed the number when it shows “Connecting…”.

Note: Speed dialing is not available when you are roaming;  when you are roaming off the Nationwide Sprint Network, you must always dial using eleven digits (1 + area code + number).
