how to replace lcd screen lg shine cu720

Tony sad: “I can’t find the instructions on the net to do this operation myself.
I DON’T WANT TO SEND IT TO ANYONE TO BE REPAIRED!
I have the replacement LCD and would really appreciate it if someone could post step by step instructions.
I’ve pretty much got it disassembled but am stuck at separating the metal cover that surrounds the glass on the slider.

This is the best answer:

Step 1. Take off back cover and remove battery and sim card.

Step 2. Remove the six screws holding on the back cover

Step 3. Get a thin piece of metal and pry off back piece of the main phone unit

Step 4. Once you get the back piece off you can see a green unit at the top of phone. This is the camera, all you do is pull on it and it should unclip

Step 5. Once the camera is removed you can see 4 more screws, unscrew these

Step 6. Now that the screws are out you can pull off the main board. The first thing you need to do is unclip the black ribbon that is at the top. Then you have to unlip the clip on all four corners, after you do this the main board will come out.

Step 7. Now That you have that off there are 2 screws on the back thats you must unscrew.

Step 8. With the screws gone you can now pull the slider away from the piece that has the number pad on it.

Step 9. On the back of the slider there are 6 screw you must unscrew. The Two screws at the top have small black circles glued on-top of them. Just wedge something under the black peices and they will come off

Step 10. Now that the screws are out you can pry off the plastic LCD screen cover from the metal slider piece.

Step 11. After the LCD screen cover is gone you must unscrew 2 screws to the left and right of the joystick. After you remove the screws the joystick cover comes off. Step 12. Now that you have the cover off you need to turn the plate where the joystick is on over and pull out of the LCD screen clip

Step 13. After you do this you can now put in the replacement and put the phone back together .
