to set it on vibrate you go to settings then profiles. then silent then options — edit. turn vibrate alert on

Open the Settings menu then click on [1] Profiles. Highlight [2] Silent and select Edit from the left softkey menu (Options). Change the option “Vibrate alert” to “On” and save.

@Jaymie:
The easiest way to do this is to open the Options menu and scroll down to Mark/Unmark, which will open another menu. On this menu select “Mark All”. This will select all text messages. Open the Options menu again and this time select “Delete”. This will delete all Marked messages.

I just bought this phone, and I can’t do anything because it is locked. How do I unlock it?? I push the unlock button, and it gives me 1 second to push “Yes”. But I can’t see any “yes” button. HELP!!

@jen: it means that the maximum amount of usable memory on your phone as been reached. To fix this just close all open applications and restart them.

@TR: When you plug your phone into your computer via the USB cable, select the Mass Storage option and it should automatically install the proper drivers. For the PC Suite visit the LG Mobile website.

@Mara: plug your phone into your computer via the USB cable and select the Mass Storage option. You should be able to access all files on your phone.

@Peggy: the ‘Yes’ button is the right button above the button that looks like a C and a lock. Like the Unlock button but on the right side of the phone

@maria: open your phone’s menu by hitting the OK key and go into the Settings menu. Select the Profiles menu, select your current profile (the one with a checkmark beside it) and hit the left soft key to open the options menu and hit edit. Scroll down to the ‘Key tone volume’ option and you can lower the volume to 0.

@Peggy. You unlock it by hitting the key above the green call button then the “Yes” button is on the opposite side. It’s a above the end call button.

My question: if you set your homescreen wallpaper to the livesquare, does anyone know how to change the person on the centre that’s like “Hi! There” and then the date and time. So does anyone know how to change it and what’s it saying cuz I think it’s cut off. Thanks!

Usually when I plug in my phone to the computer I press the Mass Storage option but by mistake pressed PC Suite! NOW my phone will not sync to the computer, even though I’ve pressed Mass Storage again!!

Please, anyone tell me how I can fix this. I have not been able to find any help on this!

i just got mine yesterday and im loving it so far… but some icons appear on the top of my screen that im not sure what stands for…from the left there’s the signal then volume, sd card and battery, but now there’s this icon w/c looks like a four-petaled flower, it’s like 4 striped triangles and i don’t know what it is for…

i dont know why but when i go to settings and try to turn off the volume button like for the key tone volume it wont let me go down like it stays at vibrate alert when i press the down button it doesnt move but when i do it for anything else it works PLEASE HELP!

@jill, it just means you have a text message…..

& I hate my phone. i’ve had it september, it lags a lot and right now there’s no words at all. it turns on, turns off. but there’s unread text messages and missed calls and I can’t read them because there’s no words.

anyone know what’s wrong?

When a picture msg is received, how can I get that onto my computer? It doesn’t give me an option to copy/move it or send it via Bluetooth, nothing!!!

Also, why does the MSN IM always time out/log me out? It’s like after 5 or 6 hours it will time me out.

Other than that, I know this phone pretty well even though it’s technically a pretty terrible phone :

* When it says “MAXIMUM LIMIT OF APPLICATIONS REACHED”, just restart your phone – It’ll refresh everything.
In some cases you may have to turn it off, and remove the battery & sim card for a few minutes, or even go into Settings and Reset Settings (which should be done every so often).

* When your phone gets slow, it’s probably because of the amount of memory it’s using from either text messages and/or pictures. You may want to check into your Memory Settings.

* DELETE ALL MESSAGES, here’s how you do it :
- Go to your Inbox and/or Sent Items folder
- Press on Options
- Go down to Mark/Unmark
- Choose the single marking option “Mark” or “Mark All” to check all of them which is preferable if you have a lot of messages to delete. I usually mark them all, then uncheck the ones I want to keep.
- Once their selected, press on Options again and choose Delete.
- After they’ve been deleted, just press Back to get out of the selection screen.

* To choose SILENT and/or VIBRATE mode :
- Settings -> Silent -> select
- For Vibrate, over Silent press on Options then Edit to switch the Vibrate alert on.

Q:1 when the phone is fully charged it makes a beeping noise ..Q;2 and to make phone silent goto settings>>profiles>>silent and the ame to turn it back to >>>normal Q;3 you can also put in a >>pin code so people can’t be nosey into your pic’s,text msgs but make sure you rememeber it or your screwed lol

When it says “Maximum limit of applications reached” when you try to reply to a text, make sure your phone isn’t on ‘Live Square’ wallpaper and it should stop. It worked for me. You could also try restarting the phone.
