LG launched for China Mobile an oPhone
LG has announced its plans to launch a phone based on China Mobile’s own mobile platform, known as OMS (Open Mobile System).
According to Wang Qiuping, an LG representative, the company is also working to develop software for the upcoming oPhone. The handset will feature 3G TD-SCDMA, while including customized functions for China Mobile, like GPS and “Fetion” instant messaging.
The third-generation mobile service will allow users to enjoy video telephony and other multimedia features through faster and more seamless connectivity.

The handset should be available across China starting the fourth quarter of 2009.Some of the models will also feature high-speed Internet access,
